How are you different from a personal assistant?
My specialty is solving financial challenges, organizing day-to-day financial tasks, and implementing personal financial systems. Additionally, I work directly with my clients to assist with a wide variety of issues, including property management, healthcare advocacy, and other roles involving responsibilities of a fiduciary nature. As needed, I can also refer clients to services that can assist with personal requests for errands, shopping, pet sitting, etc.
Do you offer financial literacy lessons?
A request is based on the specific needs of the client and can be customized to assist in managing financial resources, such as budgeting and cash flow.
How do you work with other professionals to help manage my financial situation?
I often advocate on behalf of the client to negotiate bills and credit accounts, consolidate financial commitments, while working alongside accountants, attorneys, bankers, realtors, asset managers, and financial advisors as directed by the client.
Do you have geographic limitations?
I am flexible and available to work both on site and remotely. All fees for travel and lodging can be negotiated.
How long do I work with you?
The work is short-term and defined by the client. It depends on the nature of the work and the goals of the specific project. At the outset of a project, I work closely with each client to determine the scope of the assistance needed. My ultimate goal is to help clients to manage their finances themselves.
How secure are my records with your firm?
All work is secure, confidential, and stored on a protected cloud service. Financial information is encrypted or password-protected. Depending on the project, and upon completion of the work, all relevant materials will be shared with client for future reference.
What is your fee schedule?
There is a 30-minute complimentary consultation following the initial phone call. Additional fees are based on the needs of the client, scope, and duration of the work.
Can I purchase this service for a friend or family member?
Absolutely.
